Just thought about writing this, because during last 3 days couple of buddies called to find info about ... how do I enable Aero glass effect in Vista, how do I do the flip 3D thing and so on. Basically for both these features you need a VGA card which supports. But the problem is how can we find out whether the existing VGA supports these before installing Vista. Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor RC is the solution. Go to the site, download it and run. It'll give you a report explaining what are the things that Vista will support in your machine and what will not. So you can avoid 'Post Vista installation dissapointments'
I ran the tool in my home machine and everything was perfect, so tonight i'll be installing. But scan results in my tablet gave a message saying I need a BIOS upgrade before installing Vista. Then I called the Toshiba tech support in Singapore they confirmed that the required upgrade is already installed. Anyways i'm going to give it a try as soon I get a chance.
